How to Have a Safe and Spooky Halloween

Scroll down for the autumn product special!

October 31st falls on a Saturday! It’s not a school night so it’s time to party, right? Not quite. This Halloween is going to look and feel different than any other. Many are trying to figure out how to enjoy this holiday in a socially distant, mask wearing, cleaning and sanitizing world.

Here are some spooky yet safe ways to enjoy Halloween:

1. TAKE IT TO GO!
Walking up to neighbours’ houses and knocking on doors may be switched to walking up to a table set up outside on the front lawn or the end of a driveway. Candies can be spread out on top for kids to grab and go!

2. SCAVENGER HUNT
Set up a scavenger hunt of little bags with treats in your backyard or at a park for a small group of friends. Have fun decorating the area with webs, bats hanging from trees, lights, and even skeletons. Everyone can still get dressed up and play games after the hunt.

3. HAUNTED HOUSE
Kids can help decorate the house and make it look spooky. After an indoor scavenger hunt, watch some scary movies and have pizza!

3. VIRTUAL PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
Meet up with your friends virtually to carve pumpkins, vote for who’s pumpkin is the spookiest.
